Eve of St. Agnes Review*

This week I have had the pleasure of trying out Nourishing Cleansing Cream from Eve of St. Ages Ltd.

This cleansing cream is designed to remove make-up and impurities from the skin, and even works on eye-make up. It has recently won the gold award at the 2013 Free From skincare awards at Olympia, London. Many cleansers can be quite harsh and can leave your skin feeling a little raw or dry; this one however, left my skin feeling ever so soft – as if I had just applied moisturiser.

As you can see, the simplistic packaging makes it look lovely and high end.

The key ingredients include honey, cocoa butter and sweet orange oil. The sweet orange oil is very apparent when you apply the cleanser; It smells beautifully of citrus fruits. The honey and cocoa butter share nourishing and hydrating properties which leave your skin feeling loved.

The texture is a thick, white creamy substance which is easy to apply to the skin and a little goes a long way.

Also included with the Nourishing Cleansing Cream is a Muslin Cloth. It is recommended that you apply the cleanser to dry skin and massage in, followed by rinsing it off using the dampened muslin cloth.

I was very impressed with how well the product managed to remove my make-up  – even my waterproof mascara! I always double cleanse my face, but was surprised to discover how little make-up I had left after the superficial, first cleanse. (Even with fairly heavy make-up!)

I absolutely love organic and natural beauty and skincare products and am very keen to try more of this lovely range. You definitely won’t be disappointed with this nourishing cleanser!

It currently retails at £24.00 for 200ml. Buy it HERE
