I have been wanting a good contouring palette for absolutely ages but have really struggled to find one that worked for me.
This palette by Sleek has everything I could want. The bronzer is subtle when applied with a soft brush, which enables you to build the colour up gently to achieve a natural look. Despite being matte, the bronzer does not look ‘muddy’ as it has warm undertones which flatters the skin tone beautifully. I use this bronzer underneath my cheek bones, on my temples, slightly on my forehead and on the sides of my nose.
The highlighter in this palette is delightful as it has the perfect balance of shimmer. Highlighters provide a healthy glowing effect with a little shimmer, but too much glitter and you’re in danger of looking like a Christmas bauble. I use this highlighter across the top of my cheek bones, on my brow bones and a little on my cupids bow.
I often struggle to find a blusher that looks natural on my fairly yellow skin tone as many are harsh bubblegum pink shades with blue undertones. This blusher is much warmer in colour and has a hint of gold running through it. Through the description it sounds horrifically tacky, but if you look at the photos above it is stunning.
I cannot fault this gorgeous mirrored palette! The palette featured is in ‘light’, but there are also three other varieties to suit your skin tone.
