October Beauty Favourites

I’m forever trying new beauty products, but I have fallen in love with three products in particular recently which I felt I needed to share with you.

Eye of Horus Maat Sultry Eyeshadow Palette:

Eye of Horus have a fantastic eye makeup range which is suitable for sensitive eyes, so I was very excited to try their brand new Maat Sultry Eyeshadow Palette. The palette consists of only three shades, but they are the perfect trio for creating a brown smokey eye. I apply the lightest shade to my entire eyelid, focusing on the inner eye, apply the middle shade to my crease and blend well, then apply a little of the darkest shade to the outer part of my eyelid crease. The palette costs £22.50 and is available HERE.

Pierre Rene Camouflage

It isn’t often that I’m impressed by a concealer, but this Pierre Rene Camouflage is wonderful. It has an almost waxy/balmy consistency, rather than the cream-like texture of other brands. Its texture means application is easy and flawless, and doesn’t leave your skin looking and feeling dry. Often concealers can ‘cake’ the skin and leave your blemish looking more obvious than it probably did to start with, but this is certainly not the case here. A little product goes a long way, and the coverage is very high.

It is like Photoshop in a pot, and I shall definitely be repurchasing this when it eventually runs out. Pierre Rene Camouflage costs £13.50 and is available HERE.

Lee Stafford Argan Oil Night Repair Serum:

Lee Stafford products are often scattered around my blog, as he is always creating amazing must-have products. I have tried a few new products of his recently, but this one really stood out to me. In fact, I wasn’t overly excited about trying it – I thought that applying a serum to dry hair would just make it greasy and would make a mess on my pillow overnight. To my delight, this is not the case at all. I have been applying a 10p piece amount to the tips and lengths of my hair in the evening before bed. There is no grease in sight, my hair just feels slightly damp with the serum on, and I wake up in the morning with really hydrated, soft hair! It now lives on my bedside table, rather than in my haircare drawer, as I use it so often, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone with dry ends! Lee Stafford Argan Oil Night Repair Serum costs £12.99 and is available HERE.
