As a huge fan of the Time Bomb Powerball Intensive Moisturiser and their incredible skin cocktails, I was very excited to hear of the brand new launch of Time Bomb Throwback Thursday Overnight Peel & Reveal.

The Time Bomb Throwback Thursday Overnight Peel & Reveal kit contains two different exfoliators to gently yet effectively remove dead skin cells from the epidermis.

The small bottle is the Peel AHA Serum, which is a type of chemical exfoliator. It is a blend of glycolic, lactic, citric and malic acid, and is designed to be applied to the face and neck in the evening and left on overnight.

You simply apply a few drops to your skin and wait a few seconds for it to be absorbed. To my surprise, I couldn’t feel this working at all during the night. I have sensitive skin and I normally feel a tingling or itchy sensation with chemical exfoliators, but this felt kind on my skin and I didn’t even notice it was there.

The larger bottle is the Reveal Dermabrasion Cream, which is a form of mechanical exfoliator. It contains alumina oxide fine-edged micro crystals, which are to be massaged into the skin in circular motions in order to remove excess skin cells. After a minute or so of massage, simply rinse with warm water. I absolutely loved the incredibly fine texture of this exfoliator – it felt effective but also gentle, and has a luxuriously creamy consistency which was a joy to use. This idea is that you apply this Reveal cream in the morning after using the Peel cream the previous evening.

After using both creams, my skin looked and felt noticeably smoother and softer to the touch, and somehow looked slightly more radiant. It was easy to add to my skincare regime, as it is designed to be used once a week and was a delight to use.
